SanDisk release a World Fastest SD card.

On 12 of February SanDisk announced the new memory cards in pro line - SanDisk Extreme PRO SDHC™/SDXC™ UHS-II card.

It is the world’s fastest SD memory card, and is based on the latest high performance SD specification. The new SanDisk Extreme PRO SD UHS-II card offers up to 250MB/s1 write speeds for continuous burst mode shooting and transfer speeds of up to 280MB/s1 for maximum workflow efficiency. The SanDisk Extreme PRO SD UHS-II card is UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) enabled2, a new specification allowing for high-quality 4K video recording.

My first reaction was - "I want it!", but after checking compatibility with my camera realized that it would be a waste of money for me. At the moment the only camera that supports UHS-II standard is Fuji X-T1.
